Preppies, cholos, pin-up girls, punks, headbangers, bachateros, b-girls, hipsters. Your mind scrambles to try and keep up: cumbia, electropunk, jazzy hiphop, discopunk, dub & ska, salsa, mambo thrash. A raucous soundtrack to the buzzing bilingual rumble of the crowd, you zone out of your body: is this Philadelphia? Tijuana? Panama? It’s when the stage lights up, you get it.
